This 4-hour follow-up Continuing Supervision course meets the expectations of the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling concerning issues in clinical practice and clinical supervision of Registered Interns.  

Although the course is not required to have been completed until April 1, 2021, the Board will begin tracking attendance at this course on April 1, 2017.  Participants who attend will be required to take the course again in 6 years.  Current Qualified Supervisors who have not taken the course earlier will be required to complete the course between April 1, 2021 and March 31, 2023.

This workshop exceeds the Florida Department of Health's Domestic Violence continuing education requirement for all licensed providers.  The content presented is specifically relevant to areas of clinical social work and mental health practice.

This 3-hour continuing education course meets many state board's of licensure requirement for an Ethics course for clincial social workers, mental health counselors, marriage & family therapists and other professionals and is designed for professionals of all levels of experience.

This 8-hour Laws and Rules course is required for licensure applicants for Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Mental Health Counselor.  All Registered Interns need this course before licensure.  We recommend that you take this course soon after becoming a Registered Intern due to the increase in complaints against Registered Interns to the Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Mental Health Counselors.

Already Licensed? All LCSWs, LMFTs, LMHCs are now required to complete a 3 hour Renewal Laws and Rules continuing education program BY March 31, 2019.  CLICK Renewal Laws & Rules to go to that program description showing dates, price and locations on the registration page.


This 6-hour continuing education workshop focuses on increasing awareness in our personal and professional lives of the phenomenon of uncomplicated and complicated grief and mourning.  The workshop will help us help  those who are mourning to resolve their grief in healthy ways. Participants will learn state of the art understanding of mourner’s needs especially after suffering loss from unpredictable, violent and sudden death.


This 3-hour HIV+/AIDS course is required for Registered Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counselors Interns to become licensed.  It is also required for many medical professionals everytime they renew their licenses.  Please check the program description to see if this course is approved for your profession.

This 2 hour course has been developed to specifically meet the needs and interests of clinical social workers and other mental health professionals. Participants will engage in a dialog about the applicability of root cause analysis and error prevention in a variety of mental health practice settings.  There will be a focus on emerging information about risks and error prone situations.

This 3-hour course is designed to provide mental health professionals with a basic understanding of PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY.  Of particular interest is a basic review of the functions of the neurons and brain, the neurological substances related to depression, anxiety, neurotic and psychotic thinking.  The most common medications used to treat mental health problems will be reviewed.  This course is specifically designed for licensed individuals working in a variety of mental health and social service settings, including private practice.


Effective January 24, 2014 Certiifed Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Mental Heatlh Counselors are REQUIRED to complete a 3 hour (3 CEU) course on the Florida Laws and Rules before March 31, 2019 and every third renewal thereafter.
